Noemi is a conceptual designer based in London, working internationally across stage, film and photography. Her creative practice thrives on an interdisciplinary approach.
Her recent theatre work includes set and costume design for ‘Arminio’ at the Royal Opera House and 'Grud' at the Hampstead Theatre, and co-set design for ‘L’Orfeo’ at the Zurich Opera House. She was costume designer for ‘Never Known’ at the Royal Ballet’s Festival of New Choreography, set and costume designer for ‘Dozen Things’ at the Streatham Space, and for ‘Not About Nightingales’ at the Tobacco Factory. She’s worked with Punchdrunk on several upcoming projects. She was associate designer of Katie Mitchell’s Olivier Award-nominated ‘Theodora’ (ROH) and of Simon Stone’s ‘Innocence’ staging (Finnish National Opera), working closely with both directors. Her design for Midsummer Night's Dream at the Romanian Szigligeti Theatre exhibited at the Victoria & Albert Museum.
She has done a wide range of film design work across narrative and commercial films as well as music videos. She has delivered concepts for clients such as the Arabian Oud, Panasonic, The Savoy, Craft Irish Whiskey and Huawei, and designed for the up and coming musicians of Low Island.
Her photography practice is informed by her work in performance design. She creates installations and invites her models to inhabit them, their relationship with the spaces created for them guides the narrative of each picture.
